Gloomy Sunday” (from Hungarian “Szomorú Vasárnap”,IPA: ['somoruː 'vɒʃarnɒp]) is a songwritten by the Hungarian self-taught pianist and composerRezső Seress in 1933. According tourban legend, it inspired hundreds of suicides. When the song was first marketed in America, it became known as the “Hungarian suicide song“. There is no systematic substantiation for such claims, as it is not documented where any such allegations appear in press coverage or other publications of the time.

Some lyrics li’l miss muffet sent me sometime back ! Somehow so very apt to describe how boring and monotonous life can be and when people ask you that question “So how’s life ?” or “What’s up” You feel like strangling them ! Mebbe from now onwards i’ll tell them to listen to the song with the lyrics of course

Yesterday although i had some work ..i was absolutely bored and was going through the songs i had on my comp when i came across this folder full of songs by Doors…although i had heard a lot about Jim Morrison..the only songs i probably heard were Riders on the Storm,Roadhouse blues and my favorite Alabama song(yeah the whiskey bar one 
)
